This site has been setup to assist those of you that have been left in the lurch when ColorChromeFirst (now in liquidation) ceased trading earlier this year, and the lack of support for Signblazer Elements ever since. I have been involved with the development of Signblazer since 1991. I knew Jerry Bonham very well. Whilst I never worked for CCF, I was instrumental in assisting the programmers in Beta testing the software, and suggesting new features.

Due to lack of  support, many of you have found me from CCF's website or my website (www.computerandlaser.com.au) by "Googling Signblazer". As a result, I have been able to assist many of you, to at least keep going. I am in no position to help you with Activation Codes as such, but I can keep you designing and cutting. Activation codes will only be available after certain legal matters are resolved, and the software development continues when new owners are found. I am in no way involved with this, but I am hoping to be a part of whatever happens. I have no insight or information as to when or if this will happen. We can all remain optimistic. Signblazer is fantastic & easy to use. I know it like the back of my hand.

I have noticed on the bloggs that there is a considerable need for assistance in setting up & using Signblazer, so I have decided to start answering questions as they arise to assist those in need. I have been involved with hardware, software & IT support for many years, and 17 years experience in sign systems. I was always the one called upon to resolve the tricky problems. I do in fact have a University Degree in Electrical Engineering, plus post graduate studies in software and hardware, plus basic programming skills. Help will extend to general computer problems as well.  I cannot do this directly on someone else's blogg, but you may contact me on mobby@tpg.com.au

You will notice that there is a donation button on this page. I would appreciate some small donations towards the cost of my time involved in answering all your questions. It is not in anyway compulsory, but it would help to cover my time. You will get expert advice, and be notified if and when Activation Codes become available again. Also if you are having difficulties with any file conversions, then send them to my e-mail as well

                                                                   Regards  Mike O'Brien

PS   Should you require references, then I could supply several pages of them
